Informal Showing at ADF Samuel H. Scripps Studios // May 6 & 7, 2022 @ 7 PM

Middle is a dance solo I built for the bear it/bare it /bare witness exhibit. It integrates my experience with physical hormonal pain and my evolving/conflicting feelings around the idea of myself as a parent. It touches on themes of familial pressure, erasure of self, and the cyclical nature of menstruation.

These showings are free but advance registration is required. Donations are encouraged to help me keep my artmaking sustainable. Attendees can donate in person with cash or via Venmo. My Venmo handle is (at) ascho3.
